Total site makeover: I have a new layout featuring the 1996 version of Romeo & Juliet, and I have ditched the frames as they were getting on my nerves. I have also updated many pages and added some new pages. I've also added an external link graphic to indicate offsite links, in the spirit of Wikipedia.

01.01.05
Lots of new stuff. A photoblog with a pantheist theme, where I post nature/etc. photos and write about religious things; a page on my favorite plants, Moonwatcher's Encyclopaedia of Herbs, with pics and info on their uses; and I've added some things to my photo and art pages.

New layout: Heavenly Creatures. This is a beautiful movie staring Melanie Lynskey and Kate Winslet, based on the true story of two New Zealand girls, Pauline Parker and Juliet Hulme, who developed an "intense friendship" (that's 50's code for teen lesbianism) and murdered Pauline's mother when they were threatened to be torn apart.

I'm not trying to glamorize murder or anything, I think this is a really wonderful movie because it explores the fantasy world that the girls created in very artistic ways, as well as the horror of the murder they commited.

Fourth World is a great website on the original event and the movie, if you're interested.

New layout: "ephemeral". There's some rambling on it at my journal. Also updated a bunch of things, and added some art, some quotes, some poems, some links, and a queer resources index.

Got myself a domain finally, and for pretty cheap too. So now there's no more worries about services shutting down or adding banners and no more annoying free webmail accounts which also have a tendency to disappear. And I changed the layout cause I was getting sick of the eyes, and this one takes less time to download. I also added some things to the tv, writing, and quotes pages, and, um, added a what's new page.
