Macaroni & Cheese with Ham & Peas

Classic homestyle mac & cheese made with melty, gooey Daiya vegan cheese.

1 cup elbow macaroni or other pasta shape
2 tablespoons Earth Balance or other vegan margarine
1/4 cup non-dairy milk
1/4 cup Daiya cheddar style vegan cheese
1/4 cup vegan ham, chopped (I use Light Life Smart Deli Ham)
1/2 cup peas
1 clove garlic, diced
salt & pepper to taste

Cook the macaroni until it's al dente. Drain the water and add the other ingredients, and stir over low heat until the cheese is all melted.
