Gooey Chocolate Chip Brownies

Most of the vegan brownie recipes out there seem to use silken tofu, and while I don't mind tofu desserts, I wanted to create an alternative.

dry ingredients:
4 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

wet ingredients:
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup plain or vanilla soy yogurt (1 container)
1/4 cup soy milk
1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon applesauce
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 cup vegan chocolate chips

In one bowl mix together the dry ingredients, and in another mix together the wet ingredients. Slowly add the wet to the dry and mix until it has a dough-like consistency. Fold in the chocolate chips. Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray and spread the batter into it. Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes. Let the brownies cool off for a while before you cut them.
