A cry of terror
A ball of feathers on the ground
Lifeless body
Unstirring wings
A single tear
A running child
The woods moving swiftly by
A hand holding death
An old shovel
A hole in the ground
A pile of dirt
A wooden cross
Little dirty hands filling the hole
The silent stillness
A crouching body
A soft whisper of farewell
A prayer with tear-filled eyes up to the sky
The thick air
A single bird
A lone song
